Living History Day-2005

The Cimarron Heritage Center Museum will host Living History Day-2005 on Friday, September 16. Students of all ages from the county and surrounding area will have the opportunity to relive history from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Historical displays and hands-on stations will be manned by volunteers of all ages. Each class group will have an 8 th grade Boise City student as a guide. All volunteers will be furnished a deli-type lunch.

Hands on activities will include: corn shelling and grinding; butter-making; rope making; blacksmithing; early games; early schools; wagon life; and much, much more. If you would like to help or need more information call 580-544-3479 or email us : museum@ptsi.net .

 

The public is invited to attend the CHC Living History Day while they are in town to attend the Cimarron County Free Fair, which will be in progress.
