Kerr Center looking for grant proposals The Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture, is releasing a call for preproposals to Oklahoma farmers and ranchers. Producer's can receive up to $3,500 for a 2 year project or $7,500 for a 3 year project to research or demonstrate a sustainable solution to a farming or ranching problem. This year's priority area is alternative methods to increase farm income which includes: • Alternative crop production systems • Alternative livestock production systems • Alternative marketing methods Preprosals are due back October 27,2004. There is a simpler preproposal process requiring only three pages of information .
