Patsy Shields, presently working as the Interim Chief Executive Officer, of Cimarron Memorial Hospital, has been selected to fill that position. Shields, of Denver, Colo., has worked for and with the hospital for about the last three years in a variety of contract and consulting positions.
“I am very happy with the selection,” said Board Chairman Frank Lynch. “ I think we had four of the best candidates to choose from,” Lynch added.
The board had also interviewed Dan Ghoulson, former hospital board chairman, Dave Peyock, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dennis Hawkins, of Illinois.
In open session, Shields agreed to move to Boise City if chosen for the position.
