The Boise City News receives awards from Panhandle Press Association The Boise City News received two plaques and five certificates from the Panhandle press Associations's Better newspaper Contest. The contest hosted in April in Amarillo , pits Division One Weeklies such as the Boise City news against other papers of equal size. Bi and Tri-Weeklies, along with small dailies also have their own divisions. The Boise City news received: F A Second place plaque for Editorials. F A Third place plaque for news Writing. F Honorable mentions for: Front Page layout, Humorous Columns, Sports Photography, Special Edtion (Visitor's Guide), and Serious Columns. Boise City News |
