Chase Loyd picked first string DB by Kickoff magazine Oklahoma Kickoff magazine, a comprehensive preview of Oklahoma High School football, profiles 329 high school football teams in the state, courtesy of eight regional writers, and also picked all-region teams for each section of the state. Oklahoma Kickoff NorthWest All-Region Team includes defensive back Chase Loyd of Boise City. Loyd is a two-way senior starter who also handles the kicking and punting chores for the Wildcats. Loyd seemed both surprised and appreciative of the unexpected honor. Asked how this recognition might affect his performance this fall, Loyd said perhaps the Wildcat opponents might choose to throw away from his position.
