Trustee asks for loans; donations Memorial Hospital Trustee Dwilene Holbert has asked that cimarron county citizens of substance to step up to help preserve Cimarron Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home. “We have had two different individuals agree to front the hospital $5 thousand each,” she said. “If we could get 80 people in the county do that, we'd have $400 thousand,” Holbert said hopefully. The hospital has been in financial straits and has gotten some breathing room by paying off back federal and state taxes, workman's comp and dependant insurance. However, June's payroll is due in less than one week with payroll taxes, workman's comp and insurance included. Boise City News |
