Santa Fe Trail Daze Cimarron County, Okla.
Cimarron County's annual celebration, Santa Fe Trail Daze, will begin on Tuesday, May 31 and end on Sunday, June 5. The celebration will host many fun and interesting events for children and adults thoughout the week. The Santa Fe Trail Daze Bus tour of Autograph Rock, on the Santa Fe Trail, and other scenic sites in the Kenton area will be Friday, June 3. The tour is sponsored by the Cimarron Heritage Center Museum which is located at 1300 N. Cimarron or HWY 287 North, Boise City. The free bus tour will leave from the museum promptly at 8:30 am and a guide will be on every bus. Registration begins at 7:30 am. Reservations for the lunch and tour are needed and may be made by calling the museum at 580-544-3479 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org .
A lunch of roast beef, potato salad, beans, coleslaw, roll, dessert and drink will served at Camp Billy Joe by the Hope Lutheran Church. A minimum donation of $7 from adults and $5 for 12 and under will be required. Lunch must be paid for in advance and is non-refundable.
Cimarron County invites everyone to come and visit our green country and fun events! Fun events include: Gospel Program, Trail Daze Musical, Teen Dance, Quilt Show, Parade, World Championship Post Hole Digging Contest, Horseshoe Pitching, Golf Scramble, Roping, and Western Dance.
