Alone in death...

Cimarron County Sheriff Keith Borth, with his back to the camera, and OHP Trooper Duane Johnson, look at the face of an unidentified female, as Undersheriff Larry Taylor, (behind Borth), holds the drape. The woman, thought to be of middle-age, was found early Tuesday morning, alongside U.S. Highway 56, a mile and one-half east of the Highway 64/56 Junction East of Boise City. According to Borth, the female is a small framed Hispanic. There were no visible signs of foul play, or any indication she was the victim of a hit-and-run, or an immediate indication of a cause of death. It is assumed her body was dumped in that location and that the individual(s) then drove away. The investigation is being conducted by OSBI Investigator Morgan Wilkinson, of Guymon. The body has been transported to Oklahoma City for autopsy.
