Banquet-Friday, April 27 6:30 Pm St. Paul’s UMC

The Cimarron County Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet which will be held on Friday, April 27 in the basement of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (400 E. Main) The meal will begin at 6:30 pm. Hazel Hitchings will cater the meal. Tickets will be $10.00 each and may be purchased at the B.C. News Office, the Cimarron Heritage Center, or B.C. 2007 Hall of Fame

It is our pleasure to announce that Roy Butterbaugh and Bob and Norma Gene Young will be recognized for their work to preserve the history of Cimarron County and for their dedication to promoting Cimarron County. Their work has become the foundation of our county’s written history and is widely used by many. Their names will be added to the Cimarron County Hall of Fame Achievement Board located at the Cimarron Heritage Center.

It is also my pleasure to announce that members of the Oklahoma Scenic Byways Advisory Board and Mr. Richard Andrews, State Coordinator of the Oklahoma Scenic Byways Program will be in attendance to officially designate the Cimarron Heritage Trail Scenic Byways. Also, Transportation Commissioner Bruce Benbrook and Representative Gus Blackwell will be attending our banquet, and we will hear a few words from them.
