The Boise City News picks up two awards in regional contest The Boise City News picked up two awards in regional better newspaper competition. The Panhandle Press Association honored Cimarron County's news source with an Honorable Mention for Humorous Columns in Division I. The efforts of The Boise City News placed behind columns written by Roger Estlack, of the Clarendon , Enterprise , Bob Rogers of the Canadian , Record and Ron Carr of the Friona Star , all Texas papers The PPA gave The Boise City News a Division I third-place plaque for editorial writing; again placing behind the Clarendon and Canadian papers. The PPA covers the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles, Southwestern Kansas and Eastern New Mexico. Boise City News |
