Non-insured Disaster Assistance Program Application Closing Date is March 15
March 15 is the application closing date for the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) on the following crops: alfalfa for grazing, cantaloupes, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, peppers, sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelons, Brussels sprouts, cowpeas, dry beans, dry peas (all varieties) guar, millet, pumpkins, sesame, sorghum forage, fall spinach (planting period 03), warm-season grass for grazing, mixed forage that includes warm-season grass varieties for grazing, mixed forage that includes sorghum forage, and non-irrigated soybeans, corn, cotton, and sunflowers.
If you are going to plant any of these crops and want NAP coverage on them for possible weather-related disasters, you must pay the applicable $100 fees by March 15.
