This week was spring break and has been quite eventful. The week started off slow but quickly turned into a complete whirlwind.

First, I just ran around with friends, riding bikes, roller blading, and skateboarding. We even went to the track and ran a couple times. We stayed up late some nights then slept late most mornings.

The end of the week was very busy because we went skiing at Angel Fire. Our church Youth group had to leave at 6:00 A.M. Good thing we could sleep while the old guys drove. My dad falls into the old guy category even though he didn't drive!

Angel Fire was so fun but we had to leave at 5 p.m. so we would get home in time. We stopped in Springer and ate pizza at Simple Simon's with Gary . If you remember last year we stopped there also. It is still just as good and Gary is still as friendly!

Ordean and Pam Nelson, our preacher and his wife also arrived this week. When you see them around town be sure to give them a big welcome. They won't be hard to spot in his awesome really blue truck! I probably will be telling you more about them in the future but it would be more fun if you came to the First Baptist Church on Sunday and met them for yourself.

I really messed up when I volunteered my dad for a painting job for the Easter pageant because now I get to do the painting. I guess that means my week will be busy again. I guess I need to learn to keep my mouth shut or not let dad know when I volunteer him. It will be a great pageant so come out and see it! Next year I am not volunteering my dad for anything!!

Some people go far from home on spring break to have fun but I think there is plenty to do here. I hope you have a good week and I will see you soon.
