Boise City Red hats hold first meeting, choose name

The “Cimarron Cuties” is name of the newly formed Red hat Society of Boise City.

Forty-three ladies decked out in red hats and purple outfits, and few in pink and orchid, (those not yet 50), met at the Outhouse Restaurant on March 16 to organize.

Laughter and silliness prevailed. Officers are:

Queen Mother, Bonnie Borth; Vice Mother, Betty Porter; Hysterian, Carol Harper; Sergeant-in-gloves, Joan Wiggins; Anti-Parliamentarian, Iolline Leach; and Barrimistress Iris Imler.

Eight members of the Dumas Darlin Dollies visited and entertained by singing “The Darlin Dollies from Dumas.”

The “Cimarron Cutie” will meet every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Carol and Iolline will host on April 20. There is an open invitation for any women interested in joining.
