New columnists begin writing for The Boise City News
The pages of The Boise City news welcome two new columnists with this issue.
The first is Rhiannon Toon, the 10-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Toon.
Rhiannon is home-schooled. Her favorite subject is penmanship, (she likes the teacher).
She has three brothers and two sisters, but she is the only child at home. When an adult she'd like to join the Army and fly helicopters. Rhiannon is writing “From the eyes of a child”
The second columnist is Kaye Dunagan, of Felt. She is the daughter of the late Lee Thaxton, a former Cimarron County deputy sheriff. She is a former teacher who taught for 40 years in six states and three foreign countries. She will write on social topics, beginning this week by researching the new health care plan(s).
We hope you enjoy these new writers' insights and opinions.
