Texas County Human Services employee arrested, accused of computer fraud

Selene Belden, an employee of the Texas County Office of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services has been arrested and charged with 11 different counts of computer fraud.
Belden was classified as a Social Services Specialist with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
The charges stem from an investigation by the office of the state Inspector General.
In the affidavit of probable cause filed through the District Attorney's Office, Belden is accused of having from December 2004, to August of 2005, used a card to take various amounts of money from ATM machines in Guymon, and Amarillo, Texas.
The money, according to investigators totaled more than $30 thousand, and was taken from accounts that Belden herself had created, each with cash balances.
Each of the 11 charges are punishable by a fine of between $5 and $10 thousand and imprisionment of up to 10 years.
