EQIP 2007 Ending Deadline for Sign-up October 27, 2006 EQIP is a program that assists producers in implementing conservation practices through cost-share and incentive payments. Livestock water wells, pipeline, tanks (watering and/or storage), solar pumps on new wells only, boundary fences, brush management and prescribed grazing are some of the practices available. Agriculture producers may also utilize residue, nutrient, and pest management, conservation buffers, crop rotation, irrigation water management, pump rehabilitation, irrigation pipeline and sprinkler systems, pasture and rangeland planting, as well as many others. Producers are encouraged to contact the Boise City Field Office, 580-544-2812 or Cimarron County Conservation District, 580-544-3048 to learn more about the 2007 Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP).
