Charges of possession, concealment of property, and burglary filed on 3
by C.F. David
Three Keyes men have been arrested and face a variety of charges due to burglaries and thefts within the city.
David Bailey and Wade Henry, face charges of possession and concealment of stolen property.
Nolan Cobb has been jailed on charges of second degree burglary.
The arrests stem from at least two burglaries, one at a former sports store, and another at a home in Keyes.
According to Cimarron County Sheriff Keith Borth, a little luck broke the case. Borth explained that upon investigating the break-in at the store, a foot print was found inside. Similar tracks led officers to a home nearby.
Borth said that upon questioning, Bailey and Henry admitted to having some of the missing property hidden in a car on the property. Officers took that property, a turkey cooker and gum ball machine, as evidence.
The officers returned the next day with a warrant for the home, and found more stolen items had been placed in the car and more property was inside the house.
Nolan Cobb, appeared in court on Tuesday, and was jailed on charges of second degree burglary.
Borth said there seems to be no connection between the burglary in Keyes and those in Boise City last weekend.
Henry and Baily are held on bonds of $17,100 and $24,200 on charges of possession and concealment of stolen property.
Cobb was jailed on charges of second degree burglary with a bond of $8,100.
